Meet the Band
Kyla Farquhar............Worship Leader
Kyla is a student at Elgin Academy. Kyla serves as our co-worship/music director. She has a heart for musical worship and passion to see peoples lives changed! Her hobbies are basketball, singing, and her dedicated involvement at First Baptist Church of Elgin.
Sarah Luthlie ............... Worship Leader
Sarah oversees the newly founded drama team that meets every Sunday night at 4:30PM for rehearsal in preparation for their monthly drama presentation. She is also a member of our band as a worship leader. She is currently a junior at South Elgin High School and enjoys acting and singing for private organizations. One great quality about Sarah is that when she steps into the room she will surely brighten your day with the love of Christ.
Vinnie Rivera........................................... Worship Leader
Danny Streich ...........Worship Leader
Danny oversees the vocal and instrumental worship on sunday nights. He brings direction and clarity during band practice and brings a relevant taste of worship to the youth ministry. He is a junior at Larkin High School and enjoyes working out and playing with his band who just recorded there first CD. Danny also works at and attends Harvest Bible Chapel as a member of the custodial staff. He has a heart for worship and to see students engage with the Lord in a time of musical worship.
Aseal Muro................................Pianist & Director of Music
Asael is a grauate student from Larkin High SChool. Aseal serves on staff as the worship leader of instruments. He is a person full of passion and excitement. He enjoys playing drums, piano and leading worship. He has served as our sound guy, drummer, and guitarist and currently leads on piano. Where ever he is needed he is eager to jump right in and serve!
Garrett McDaniel................. Drummer
Garrett is a student at Larkin High School. Garrett serves as the drummer in our praise and worship band. He has a heart for music and a passion for seeing students engage in praise and worship. His hobbies are basketball, music and he is also apart of music ministry at Community Baptist Church. He is relatable and fun to be around.
Patrick Lipscomb................................................ Guitarist
Patrick is a student at Larkin High School. Patrick serves on the worship team as the guitarist. He has a heart for music and enjoys being a member of Larkin High Wrestling Team. He is one of the most committed members of the team. For as long as he has been a part of the team he has never missed a week and is always right on time for practice.
