What is a House Group?
It’s a safe place where you can gather with 5 to 12 Christ followers every other week and discuss the word of God in a small group setting. You will also have the opportunity to just hang out, eat food, play games and meet new people.
Why should I join a House Group?
Because it will help you grow in your faith, you’ll have a stable group to help keep you accountable with your relationship with God and church life. It’s important not to be an isolated Christian but to have a community of people in your life to encourage you in your faith journey.
What will we be doing at house group?
Have snacks, talk with friends and maybe make some new friends along the way! Play a few games, icebreaker activities, small lesson taught by the house group host, then small group discussion time where you can talk about the lesson, prayer requests, and/or questions that you would like to get answered.
When do the small groups meet?
The Ramsey Small group meets bi-weekly on Saturday after noon’s from 12-1PM.
How do I join a house group?
Either sign up at the information table in the youth center and the day/time/and directions are listed on the sign up sheet. Or call Josh Lee at 847-695-8700 ext 110
Softball & BBQ Night!
Saturday May 3rd at 5PM we will be hosting a softball game and BBQ in the field at First Baptist. We encourage you to join us for this fun time with food, games, softball and fellowship. We also, encourage you to invite your friends. This event will be completely free!
